What My Astrology Clients Taught Me About Fear, Faith & Forecasts
By Ankush Wadhwa
As an astrologer and coach, I’ve read thousands of charts from 90+ countries of people from all walks of life — CEOs, homemakers, actors, engineers, monks, politicians — have sat across from me, either virtually or in person, asking questions that boil down to a few raw, recurring themes:
“Will things get better?”
“Am I making the right choice?”
“What if it doesn’t work out?”
These questions aren’t just about the future. They’re about something deeper: fear and faith.
The forecast is just the doorway. What lies inside is the fragile human need to feel safe, seen, and supported.
The truth is, astrology gave me access to thousands of maps — but my clients gave me the real lessons. Not just about the stars. About the soul.
Everyone’s Afraid of the Same Things
You might assume the rich and famous want guidance on business moves, while everyday folks come for love and career. Sometimes, yes. But more often than not, the underlying emotion is the same across every demographic:
“Am I going to be okay?”
Fear doesn’t discriminate. Neither does doubt.
And behind every seemingly confident face is someone carrying:
The weight of uncertainty
The pressure of performance
The wound of past disappointment
When someone asks me for a prediction, I hear a plea for reassurance.
And when someone resists astrology altogether, I hear a deeper fear:
What if the forecast shows something I don’t want to see?
Faith Isn’t the Absence of Fear
One of my most spiritual clients once said, “I meditate two hours a day, but I still panic when Mercury goes retrograde.”
We laughed — but she was right.
Faith isn’t a permanent emotional state. It’s a muscle. It has to be exercised — especially when things don’t go your way.
What astrology offers isn’t a magic escape from pain.
It’s context. Perspective. Timing. Tools.
It tells you:
“This too shall pass.”
“Here’s when clarity returns.”
“Yes, it’s hard — but it’s not forever.”
And when you trust that, even fear becomes sacred.
Forecasts Are Mirrors, Not Verdicts
Here’s what most people get wrong about forecasts:
They think astrology is about what will happen.
In reality, it’s about what’s likely to happen if current energies and patterns continue.
But you always have a say.
I’ve seen clients completely change the course of their timelines by making different choices:
A man in the middle of a difficult Saturn return who left a toxic job instead of pushing through, and landed a soul-aligned role three months later.
A woman advised not to rush into a marriage during a Venus-Rahu dasha. She waited — and ended up meeting someone far more compatible six months later.
The forecast usually is a reflection of current momentum which may or may not be visible or obvious all the time.
And once you see the momentum, you can redirect your energie.
The 3 Archetypes I Meet Often
Working with so many people over 25+ years, I’ve noticed three energetic archetypes that emerge during sessions:
1. The Seeker
They come with humility and openness. They don’t just want answers — they want understanding. For them, astrology becomes a lifelong tool for awareness, not a one-time reading.
2. The Skeptic
They want to disprove it, but also… hope it’s real. Their charts often shock them — not because they believe in astrology, but because it believes in them. These are my favorite transformations.
3. The Surrendered
Often in pain, loss, or transition, they come not for solutions but for space. These sessions are more about holding than advising. What they need isn’t a forecast — it’s faith.
I’ve been all three at different points in my own life. Most of us have.
What My Clients Really Teach Me
Every session teaches me something. Not just about planetary patterns — but about human resilience.
I’ve seen people laugh in the middle of breakdowns.
I’ve seen people leave toxic relationships just because a line in their chart validated what they already knew.
I’ve seen people pray for those who wronged them, understanding it was karmic, not personal.
I’ve seen clients carry hope in the middle of grief — because their chart showed them there was more to come.
These aren’t astrological predictions.
They’re human victories.
When Forecasts Hurt More Than They Help
Not all forecasts are helpful. I’ve seen poorly delivered readings traumatize people for years.
That’s why I believe:
Astrology should never instill fear.
A forecast should be offered like a weather report — not a life sentence.
No astrologer should ever say, “This will happen no matter what.”
And no one should ever walk away from a session feeling smaller, weaker, or doomed.
My role is not to declare. It’s to decode.
And, hopefully, to empower.
How I Give Forecasts Now
Here’s how I approach it:
Frame it with Free Will
I remind every client: “This is energy. What you do with it is yours.”
Offer Possibility, Not Panic
If the dasha is challenging, I offer remedies — spiritual, practical, psychological.
End with Empowerment
Every session ends with a tool — a mantra, a mindset shift, or a ritual to anchor into hope.
Because no matter the chart, you deserve to walk out with more clarity than fear.
Final Thought
People don’t come to astrologers for predictions.
They come for peace.
They want to understand their timing, their patterns, and the part of themselves that’s scared to hope.
And if astrology can help restore even an ounce of faith — not in fate, but in the self — then that’s the real forecast I want to give.
